Lauren Joiner Paul, LMSW, is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Gainesville, GA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science and a Master’s in Social Work from UGA. Lauren is deeply committed to mental health advocacy and serves as the Steering Committee Chair for NAMI Hall County. Her journey becan when her younger brother, Ryan, was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Tragically, Ryan died by suicide in 2022, leading Lauren to establish The Ryan Joiner Foundation in his memory. Lauren’s own mental health experiences stem from early childhood trauma. She emphasizes the importance of self-care, resilience, and seeking help, hoping to inspire others on their healing journeys.
