About Us

Ryan Joiner passed away June 22, 2022. Ryan was known for his enormous heart and was passionate about helping others. He was a lifelong athlete playing multiple sports at a competitive level, an Eagle Scout, a lifelong student, and volunteer who contributed his time, talents, and gifts to a wide range of nonprofit organizations.

Considering Ryan's lifelong battle with mental illness and the sadness left in its wake, the Joiner family created the Ryan Joiner Foundation, dedicated to supporting those living with severe mental illness and their families by funding research, raising awareness, and providing a community of support.
