    Georgia Crisis & Access Line (GCAL) is available 24/7 days and 365 days a year to help you or someone you care for in a crisis. GCAL professionals will:
    • Provide telephonic crisis intervention services
    • Dispatch mobile crisis teams
    • Assist individuals in finding an open crisis or detox bed across the State
    • Link individuals with urgent appointment services
    In addition to all of this, GCAL will help you to access a State Funded provider in your area in a non-emergency.

    If you need help navigating DBHDD’s system of services, or detailed information about resources in your community, please contact your regional field office. Hall County is in Region 1; Barrow, Clarke, Oconee, and Walton Counties are in Region 2.

    Peer Support & Respite Centers of Georgia
    • Peer Support: All staff are trained and certified by the State of Georgia to provide peer support as Certified Peer Specialists.
    • Respite: Each of the five Peer Support and Respite Centers has respite rooms available to citizens of Georgia, available 24 hours a day, year-round. The three or four respite rooms at each Center are free of charge and can be occupied by a peer overwhelmed by life challenges who feels they would benefit from 24/7 peer support, for up to seven nights, every 30 days.
    • Peer2Peer Warm Line: Peer support is also provided over the phone 24/7/365

    Georgia Council for Recovery
    The mission of the Georgia Council for Recovery is to increase the impact of recovery in our communities through education, advocacy, training and peer recovery support services.

    Emery Healthcare Veterans Program (EHVP) treats conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), military sexual trauma (MST), substance use disorder, anxiety, and depression related to military service. Treatment is free and confidential for eligible post-9/11 veterans and service members living anywhere in the United States regardless of discharge status, deployment history, or length of service.

    Giving Health partners with healthcare professionals and organizations to assist individuals with incomes at or below the Federal Poverty Limit using the Unite Us platform to Build Connections for a Healthier Georgia.
